Andhra Pradesh Assembly Election 2024: A big incident related to politics has come to light in Andhra Pradesh. Megastar Chiranjeevi has extended his support to the TDP-Janasena-BJP alliance to boost the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA for the assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections here.
Former Congress MP and Union Minister Chiranjeevi had distanced himself from politics after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in 2014. Political experts believe that their support to NDA just before the elections can be beneficial for the alliance.

BJP can benefit in this way
Chiranjeevi, who was a minister in UPA-2, was inactive in politics after the division of Andhra Pradesh. His brother and popular star Pawan Kalyan and his party Janasena are already a part of the NDA alliance. Chiranjeevi comes from Kapu caste which is backward in Andhra and has about 15% vote percentage. If the NDA alliance gets this vote, then not only in the assembly elections but also Lok Sabha Elections There could also be a big upheaval. BJP will benefit the most from this. She wants to establish herself in the South.
Formed my own party in 2008
Chiranjeevi had formed Praja Rajyam Party in 2008, and also won 18 seats (out of 294 seats) in the 2009 assembly elections. It is believed that it was because of PRP that TDP had to face defeat on many seats in 2009 and the Congress government led by late leader Rajasekhara Reddy was back in power. In 2011, Chiranjeevi merged the party with Congress. After that he became a minister in the central government in UPA-2.
